How analytics measurement works on XNA Archive.

Google Analytics

XNA Archive uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage, such as pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser category, and navigation patterns. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Analytics storage is denied by default. Before consent, Google Consent Mode may send limited cookieless consent and measurement signals. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may store first-party measurement cookies such as _ga. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google signals, and ad personalization signals remain disabled.

Your analytics preference

Your choice is stored in this browser as xna-analytics-consent. You can change it at any time.

Account and community data

When you sign in, XNA Archive stores the account and session data needed for Discord authentication, submissions, comments, bumps, moderation, and audit history. Google Analytics is not configured to receive Discord user IDs, account IDs, comment text, submission notes, or form values.

Rights requests

When you submit a rights request, XNA Archive stores the contact, relationship, request, and supporting information you provide so administrators can review and document the decision. We also store a keyed hash of the request IP address for abuse prevention, not the raw address. Approved and rejected requests are retained as an operational record.
